Straight answers.

The questions business owners ask us most — answered plainly. Can’t find yours? Ask it on a call.

The basics

Who does WebKrof help?

Local home-service businesses in the United States — plumbers, roofers, HVAC, electricians, cleaners, landscapers and many other trades. If customers find you online and you go to their home, we can probably help.

What does WebKrof actually do?

We set up a connected system that helps you get found, catch every enquiry, reply quickly, book the job and bring customers back. That can include your website, quote forms, missed-call text-back, follow-up, booking, payments, reviews and local search work.

Do I get every service?

Not necessarily. Every business is different. On the call we look at what you have today and agree what your setup should include. We will not sell you pieces you do not need.

Are you just a web design company?

No. A website is often part of it, but the goal is the whole path from first search to booked job — and the customer coming back later.

Services

Can I start with just one or two services?

Yes. Many owners start by fixing their biggest leak, like missed calls or slow replies, and add more later. We agree on a sensible starting point on the call.

Which service should I start with?

It depends on where leads slip today. If calls go to voicemail, start there. If people visit your site but rarely get in touch, start with the website and quote forms. We will look at it with you.

How do the services work together?

Calls, forms, chats and bookings all land in one place. That means follow-up, reminders and review requests can run from the same list of leads and customers, so nothing falls through the gaps.

Do I have to stop using the tools I already have?

Not always. Tell us what you use today for your calendar, invoices and phone. We will tell you honestly what connects, what does not, and whether a change is worth it.

Websites

I already have a website. Do I need a new one?

Maybe not. Sometimes improving the key pages and connecting your forms and follow-up is enough. We will look at your current site and give you a straight answer.

Who writes the words on my site?

We write them with you, based on how you talk to customers. You approve everything before it goes live.

Will my website show up on Google?

We build your site so search engines can read it clearly, with a page for each main service and the areas you cover. Where it ranks depends on many things we do not control, so we never promise a position.

Can my website take bookings and payments?

Yes, if that suits your business. Customers can book a time for an estimate or visit, and pay deposits or invoices by card through a secure payment processor.

Process

How does getting started work?

You book a call. We learn about your business and where leads come from today. If it is a good fit, we plan your setup, build it, review it with you and launch it together.

How long does setup take?

It depends on what your setup includes and how quickly we can gather details like photos, service lists and access to your accounts. We will give you a realistic plan on the call instead of a one-size promise.

How much of my time will this take?

Some time up front to tell us about your business and review the work. After launch, the system is designed to save you time, not add to it.

Results & promises

Can you guarantee more leads or a top Google ranking?

No. Nobody can honestly guarantee rankings, lead numbers or revenue — too much depends on your market, competition and search engines. What we can do is fix real problems: missed calls, slow replies, unclear pages and forgotten follow-ups.

Do you have reviews or case studies?

WebKrof is a new business, so we do not have published client results yet. We will never invent them. Until we do, we show clearly labelled sample work and explain exactly how we work.

Do you filter out bad reviews?

No. We ask every customer for honest feedback the same way. Filtering out unhappy customers (review gating) breaks platform rules and is not fair to future customers.

Pricing & contracts

Why is there no price on the website?

We prefer to understand your business first so we only quote what you actually need. We share the full pricing clearly on the call — no surprises and no pressure.

Is there a long-term contract?

Our plan is designed to be month-to-month, so you can cancel when it is no longer right for you. The exact terms are set out in your customer agreement before you sign.

Are there usage costs, like for text messages?

Some features, like texting, calling and card payments, can involve usage-based fees from third-party providers. We will explain anything that applies to your setup before you commit.

Data & ownership

Who owns my customer data?

Your customer list and lead records belong to your business. We will explain how to export them and what happens to them if you leave.

Who owns my Google Business Profile and domain?

You should own your Google Business Profile and your domain name. We work with the access you give us.

Is texting customers legal?

Texting is regulated. Messages should identify your business, honor opt-outs like STOP, and marketing texts need proper consent. We build those basics into the setup, but your business remains responsible for how it contacts customers.

Still have a question?

Ask us directly on a call. We’ll answer honestly — including when the answer is “you don’t need this.”
